The Rafting Pipe is one of the most original and adrenaline-fuelled attractions at Acquatica Park: aboard a specially designed tube, you launch yourself down a 10-metre V-shaped ramp and experience a breathtaking sensation of weightlessness as the tube swings back and forth before finally racing down to the bottom. An experience unlike anything else at Milan's water park — and one you will find very hard to forget after your first run.
The V-shape of the Rafting Pipe is what makes the whole experience: unlike traditional slides where you travel in one direction only, here the tube swings forwards and backwards along the ramp, gaining and losing height in a completely unpredictable way. Think of it as an aquatic skate park — every run is different depending on the weight, position and speed of the riders. It is designed for two, making the whole experience even more exhilarating to share with someone else.
The Rafting Pipe is open to guests aged 10 and over with a minimum height of 105 cm. Riders between 105 and 130 cm must be accompanied by an adult on the same tube. Recommended for those who enjoy strong sensations and do not suffer from vertigo.
Thrill-seekers who have already conquered the Rafting Pipe will find their next challenge on the Kamikaze — a vertical 19-metre launch along a 90-metre track. For something completely different, the Twister sends you spinning through enclosed spiral slides in total darkness, while the Space Bowl pulls you into an artificial vortex that ends with a spectacular splash. After all that adrenaline, the Laguna Azteca is the perfect place to recover with some well-earned rest among waterfalls and shade.
