The Space Bowl is one of the most spectacular and original attractions at Acquatica Park: after an initial descent, you find yourself pulled into an enormous funnel where centrifugal force sends you spinning faster and faster around the walls, until gravity draws you towards the centre and launches you into the pool with a final splash that never fails to get a reaction. An experience unlike anything else at the park — and one that always leaves people open-mouthed.
The principle behind the Space Bowl is as simple as it is spectacular: the funnel shape uses centrifugal force to spin you progressively faster around the walls, building speed all the way to the final plunge. You have no control over your trajectory — you are entirely in the hands of physics. It is precisely this unpredictability that makes the Space Bowl so thrilling: every run is slightly different from the last, depending on your starting position and the weight of the tube.
The Space Bowl is open to guests aged 14 and over with a minimum height of 140 cm. It is not permitted for non-swimmers, given the nature of the pool landing. Not suitable for anyone who suffers from vertigo or heart conditions. Acquatica Park staff are always present to check requirements before every run and ensure maximum safety for all visitors.
The Space Bowl is the perfect companion to all the most adrenaline-fuelled rides at Acquatica Park. Those who want the ultimate vertical drop will find it on the Kamikaze with its 19-metre launch — the most extreme descent in the park. Those who prefer to be completely disorientated will find their match in the Twister and its enclosed spiral slides. And those who want a different kind of challenge can head to the Shuttle for a timed race on parallel tracks. After all that adrenaline, the Laguna Azteca is the perfect refuge to recover among waterfalls and relaxation.
