The Torrente Veloce is the attraction at Acquatica Park designed for guests who love swimming and want an experience that feels nothing like an ordinary pool. A powerful continuous current flows non-stop, letting you swim faster than ever — or, for the most daring, take on the challenge of swimming directly against it. An attraction that puts every swimmer's abilities to the test, and one that has nothing to do with slides or tubes.
The Torrente Veloce can be experienced in two completely different ways: letting the current carry you for a thrilling sensation of speed through the water with minimal effort, or swimming against the flow for those who want a real physical challenge. The second option is the favourite of the most trained swimmers — the current is powerful and fighting it demands technique, strength and determination. Two experiences in one attraction, for two very different types of athlete.
The Torrente Veloce is strictly reserved for strong swimmers: access is absolutely not permitted for anyone who cannot swim. Open to guests aged 10 and over with a minimum height of 130 cm. Acquatica Park staff are always on hand to check requirements and ensure the safety of every visitor. If you have any doubts about your swimming ability, the Lazy River is a much more accessible alternative just nearby.
The Torrente Veloce is the most sport-oriented attraction at the park and pairs perfectly with the Beach Volley courts and the Calcetto pitch for anyone who wants a day at Acquatica Park centred around movement and physical challenge. After the swim, thrill-seekers can head straight to the Kamikaze or the Space Bowl for their next adrenaline fix. To wind down afterwards, the Lazy River offers 340 metres of gentle drifting and the Chiringuito La Playa is the perfect spot for a fresh smoothie after the effort.
